Code lab
Write and run Cambridge pseudocode or Python right here. Your code runs in your browser and is saved on this computer only.
Code lab works on a computer. Writing code needs a keyboard and a wide screen, so open this page on a laptop or desktop to use it.
Good to know
- Pseudocode follows the Cambridge 9618 pseudocode guide: DECLARE, ← for assignment, IF … ENDIF, CASE OF … ENDCASE, FOR … NEXT, WHILE … ENDWHILE, REPEAT … UNTIL, procedures, functions, arrays, records and text files.
- Keywords are written in capitals, as in the exam. Type <- to get ←.
- Python is real Python 3, running in your browser. The exam also accepts Java and Visual Basic, which Code lab cannot run.
- When a program asks for input, it waits: type your answer in the terminal and press Enter.
